Slowcooker Pulled Pork - tried and true!
This is an amazing recipe for a large family dinner. I tried this recipe originally for my husband's 30th birthday, which we hosted at a Cottage in Prince Edward County. It fed 7 hungry adults in the middle of winter, and proved to be the hearty meal that the recipe promises.
The second time we had this, it was just as good. The cut of pork shoulder came with a large bone in the middle and also a good layer of fatty skin, which probably added to the flavour. Honestly though, this was not by choice, it's just the cut that the butcher chose for me. I also asked for 3 lbs because I was feeding 6 adults and a toddler instead. This was a summer meal this time and I paired the sandwiches with coleslaw. Again it turned out great, just as I expected!
I served the pulled pork on toasted buttered Kaiser Buns. It's the only way to do it!
Enjoy!

P.s. The pictures are from the cottage... :) sorry the pulled pork was gone before I had a chance to take pictures !
